An Introduction to Kubernetes

Free one-day course to learn the basics and leverage Kubernetes for easy app deployment.
This in-person event provides a basic introduction to Kubernetes. On the day, you’ll learn what Kubernetes does, how to interact and deploy workloads, discover how to deploy stateless and stateful apps, and how to manage them. If you’re new to Kubernetes, this beginners course can prepare you for more advanced Kubernetes courses, such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Join us on the day at Kingsholm Stadium, the home of Gloucester Rugby Club, where Appsbroker is delivering digital transformation for its fans, on and off the pitch. The course itself has been designed by industry experts at Appsbroker Academy; a leading, Google Cloud-authorised Training Partner.
Lunch and refreshments will also be provided on the day.

Tim Berry

Tim has over a decade of experience with Google Cloud, and more than four years production experience with Kubernetes and GKE. Before joining Appsbroker, Tim was responsible for the GCP training curriculum at A Cloud Guru, where he created courses for GKE, Cloud Run, and the Professional Data Engineer certification. Tim also led the GCP SRE practice for a European Google Premier Partner, where he oversaw large migrations from AWS to GCP.

Is this course for me?
You should be familiar with deploying applications and managing software from the command line, ideally with Linux operating systems. Please bring a working developer-capable laptop (and charger) capable of running Docker and Minikube with you.
