What is a PASR?

Threat actors force their way into infrastructures via public surfaces using both individual and organisational profiles they build from freely available information on the dark web.

A Public Attack Surface Report (PASR) will identify where your security operations are strong, and where improvements can be made to defend against attacks and reduce your attack surface.

This Report brings context through dark web aggregators to show recent data breaches from third parties, along with detailed information on customer facing assets, with any specific vulnerabilities.

What’s included?

A 15-point investigation that examines:

  • Open source threat intelligence for your domains
  • Information inside and outside your Google Cloud estate
  • HTTP, HTTPS, CAA, HSTS, TLS and Dark Web findings in more detail
Cyber Kill Chain

The Cyber Kill Chain has been around for a number of years, and is a commonly used term to describe a series of steps that trace stages of a cyberattack from the early reconnaissance stages to the exfiltration of data. Albeit, this is a commonly thought of as a legacy term, it still stands true today.

A PASR will zone in on the initial phase of the Cyber Kill Chain; Recon, so you can understand threats and respond against threat actors  to prevent your own data being weaponised and used in targeted campaigns.
